DTL is responsible for planning, developing, operating and maintaining Delhi’s Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission network. As on 31.03.2026, its network comprises 4 substations at 400 kV and 43 substations at 220 kV. DTL has also implemented an Islanding Scheme to ensure uninterrupted power supply to essential loads in Delhi during a national grid failure. |
